Prices are in Argentine pesos (ARS) as published on 30 October 2026. The USD figures are for reference only: we divided by the central bank’s reference rate of 1,539.593 ARS per USD on 29 October 2026 (BCRA). Nobody charges you that dollar amount. For how foreign cards are charged, see our exchange-rate guide for tourists.
Quick answer
- Want a fixed price and no app? Use an official taxi stand in arrivals, as Canada’s government advises (travel.gc.ca). As of 30 Oct 2026, the website of Taxi Ezeiza, the municipal prepaid taxi Aeropuertos Argentina lists in Terminal A, listed a fixed fare of ARS 60,000 to Capital Federal (the city of Buenos Aires), paid before you get in (Taxi Ezeiza; Aeropuertos Argentina). That’s per car, our editor, Emiliano, told us in October 2026; prices change often, so confirm at the stand before you pay.
- Travelling alone with one suitcase? The Tienda León bus to its Terminal Pellegrini (Pellegrini 971, city centre) lists ARS 18,000, or ARS 16,500 as a “Promo Web” price, per person, with a journey time of 1 hour (Tienda León).
- Lowest cost, time to spare, light luggage? Bus line 8 costs ARS 1,337.06 on the regular route and ARS 2,339.90 on the express route at the registered-card fare, and double that with an unregistered SUBE card (CNRT fare table, line 8, PDF). SUBE says buses across the Buenos Aires metro area also take contactless Visa and Mastercard cards, including foreign ones, at the registered-card fare (SUBE, new payment methods).
Uber also works at Ezeiza, at a variable price (see “Uber and Cabify”), and you can rent a car at the airport (see “Car rental at Ezeiza”). In October 2026, our editor, Emiliano, named these as his options from Ezeiza: a rental car, a taxi or an Uber.

How to read this table
- Tienda León prices are per person. Taxi Ezeiza lists one price per destination, which our editor told us in October 2026 is per car: two people on the bus at the web price (ARS 33,000) still pay less than one taxi, and three (ARS 49,500) come close.
- Bus times are the operators’ declared running times for the whole route, filed with the transport regulator (CNRT), which notes they were declared for winter 2025 and may be revised.
Arrivals and official desks in Terminal A
Aeropuertos Argentina lists the taxi services in Terminal A and the remis desks in the Terminal A arrivals hall (Aeropuertos Argentina). Press reports (Aviacionline, citing an Aeropuertos Argentina statement; El Cronista) say that since July 2026 all arriving flights, international and domestic, come in through Terminal A (Aviacionline, 22 Jul 2026; El Cronista, 26 Jul 2026).
Safety. Only take transport from the official desks in the Terminal A arrivals hall. Canada’s government advises using only officially marked taxis, booked at an official taxi stand in the arrivals area (travel.gc.ca), and Uber says not to accept trips from outside the app (Uber).
Official prepaid taxi (Taxi Ezeiza)
Aeropuertos Argentina lists two taxi services in Terminal A: the Municipality of Ezeiza’s taxis and “TAXIS Municipalidad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires” (Aeropuertos Argentina). The municipal taxis are run by a drivers’ cooperative, the Cooperativa de Provisión de Servicios “Trabajadores de Taxis del Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza” Ltda., which trades as Taxi Ezeiza. It is registered with INAES, Argentina’s national cooperatives regulator, under number 24256, with its address in Terminal A and the same phone number Aeropuertos Argentina lists for the Ezeiza taxis (INAES registry search, search registration number 24256). Taxi Ezeiza’s website describes how it works:
- Find the stand in the Terminal A arrivals hall.
- Pay first, at the stand, before you get in.
- No booking needed: it says the stands are staffed 24 hours.
- Delays: it says it doesn’t charge for waiting or flight delays.
Fares listed on 30 Oct 2026 (taxiezeiza.com.ar):
| Destination | ARS | ≈ USD (reference) |
|---|---|---|
| Capital Federal (city of Buenos Aires) | 60,000 | 38.97 |
| Aeroparque (domestic airport) | 62,000 | 40.27 |
| Cruise terminal | 62,000 | 40.27 |
Taxi Ezeiza’s website lists these fares as of 30 Oct 2026. Our editor, Emiliano, told us in October 2026 that this fare is per car, not per person. Prices change often, so confirm the fare at the stand before you pay. There’s one price for all of Capital Federal, and the table doesn’t say whether tolls are included, so ask when you pay.
Car size. Taxi Ezeiza says a standard car takes up to 3 passengers; for groups or extra luggage, ask for a larger vehicle (utilitario).
Return trip. With your ride from the airport you get a voucher with a code for a discounted trip back. Taxi Ezeiza’s website lists a cash-only return from anywhere in Capital Federal, with separate car and van prices, and the operator says tolls are included; as of 30 Oct 2026 it showed ARS 59,000 (≈ USD 38.32) for a larger vehicle. Confirm the car price at the desk.
Tienda León bus and remis
Tienda León runs buses from Ezeiza to its Terminal Pellegrini (Pellegrini 971) and to Aeroparque (Tienda León).
| Route | List price (ARS) | “Promo Web” price (ARS) | Journey time (Tienda León) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ezeiza ↔ Terminal Pellegrini (each way) | 18,000 | 16,500 | 1 h |
| Ezeiza → Aeroparque | 20,000 | 17,000 | 1 h 20 min |
| Aeroparque → Terminal Pellegrini | 8,000 | 7,500 | 30 min |
Prices are per person. Its FAQ says it takes cards, Mercado Pago, pesos or foreign currency; allows 1 suitcase up to 23 kg plus 1 carry-on per person; charges children from age 3; and marks the Ezeiza stop on a Google Maps link.
Remis (private car). Tienda León offers a 24-hour private car service, from a sedan (4 passengers, 2 suitcases) to a van (7–9 passengers, 7–9 suitcases). Prices are quoted in its online booking system (Tienda León).
Remis desks in Terminal A. Aeropuertos Argentina lists Tienda León, On Baires Transfer, Remis Vip Cars and Remis Transfer Express in the public area of the Terminal A arrivals hall (Aeropuertos Argentina). We didn’t find published fares for them, so ask for the price at the desk before you agree.
Uber and Cabify
Uber publishes average prices, not fixed fares: as of 30 Oct 2026, the UberX average from EZE to Buenos Aires over the past month was ARS 39,397 (≈ USD 25.59), and the app price “may be adjusted at the end of the trip if surcharges or tolls differ from the estimated upfront price” (Uber, EZE pickup; Uber, EZE). Pickups “are typically located at the Ground Transportation exit”, the app shows your exact zone once a ride is confirmed, and Uber says not to accept trips from outside the app (same page). Cabify doesn’t publish a price for this trip; you get an estimate in the app or on its website (Cabify help).
Car rental at Ezeiza
As listed on Aeropuertos Argentina’s Ezeiza car rental page on 30 Oct 2026, eight companies rent cars at the airport: Alamo-National, Hertz, Localiza, Avis, Europcar, Wonder Rent a Car, Sixt and Keko. The page places Wonder, Sixt and Keko at Parking E1 with phone numbers or websites (Aeropuertos Argentina, car rental at EZE). We found no published price for this trip: it varies by company and dates, so get a quote from the company before you book.
Public bus: line 8 (and line 51)
Cheapest and slowest. Two ways to pay:
- A contactless bank card or phone. SUBE says metro-area buses, national lines included, take contactless Visa and Mastercard cards and NFC phones, including foreign ones, with no sign-up, at the registered-card fare. Tell the driver your destination, then tap (SUBE). As of 30 Oct 2026, SUBE’s page doesn’t single out lines, so we couldn’t confirm it specifically on line 8’s express route G or on line 51; carry a SUBE card as a backup.
- A SUBE card (see “SUBE for visitors” below).
Line 8
Two routes of line 8 link Ezeiza airport with Aeroparque (route document, PDF). Route A (regular) goes via Avenida Rivadavia, Avenida de Mayo and the Retiro bus terminal. Route G (express) takes the motorways; heading into the city, its first central stops are on Hipólito Yrigoyen at Piedras, Perú and Balcarce (near Plaza de Mayo). Fares are in the comparison table; the route A price matches the October 2026 national-line fare on the Red SUBE fares page.
When it runs from Ezeiza (“Invierno 2026” timetable, CNRT, PDF): route A every 23–24 min from 04:00 to 20:00 and every 30 min before and after that, with no departures from about 23:30 to midnight; route G every 55 min from 07:00 to 20:45.
The CNRT route documents end both routes at the airport but don’t say where exactly the stop is; ask at the airport information desk.
Line 51 (route C)
Line 51’s route C runs between Constitución (Pavón 1357) and Ezeiza airport (route document, PDF). Fares are the same as line 8’s regular route (CNRT fare table, line 51, PDF). On weekdays it leaves the airport every 30 to 41 minutes, day and night; weekends are less frequent, every 50 to 90 minutes (CNRT timetable, line 51, PDF).
SUBE for visitors
- Price and where to buy: ARS 1,500 for the card (SUBE), sold at SUBE points of sale, service centres and online, and at the City’s Tourist Assistance Centres. As of 30 Oct 2026, SUBE’s list of service centres includes one in Ezeiza (Nicolás Avellaneda 51, Mon–Fri 8:00–13:00) but none at the airport (SUBE, how to get one). At the airport, our editor, Emiliano, told us in October 2026 that you can buy a SUBE card at the Open 25 kiosk, past the arrivals doors after you leave baggage claim. That kiosk isn’t on SUBE’s list, so contactless remains the fallback.
- Registering is optional. An unregistered card works the same way but pays the higher fare.
- With a passport: you can register a card at the City’s Tourist Assistance Centres, which ask for an identity document or passport, an email address and a phone number (City of Buenos Aires).
- With SUBE itself: SUBE’s registration terms (updated 21 Oct 2025) say adults must use a valid DNI, Argentina’s national ID, and its own service centres ask for one (SUBE, registration terms).
Aeropuertos Argentina also lists lines 394 and 518 on its public transport page, without routes, fares or timetables, so we don’t cover them here.
Ezeiza to Aeroparque (domestic connection)
| Option | Published price (ARS) | Journey time, as published |
|---|---|---|
| Taxi Ezeiza | 62,000 | Not published |
| Tienda León bus | 20,000 list / 17,000 “Promo Web”, per person | 1 h 20 min |
| Line 8, route A | 1,337.06 registered / 2,674.12 unregistered SUBE | 135–157 min |
| Line 8, route G (07:00–20:45) | 2,339.90 registered / 4,679.70 unregistered SUBE | 96–110 min |
Line 8 runs airport to airport, with no change.
Going back to Ezeiza
- Taxi Ezeiza return offer: with the voucher from your inbound ride (see “Return trip” above).
- Uber: as of 30 Oct 2026, average UberX price from Buenos Aires to EZE, ARS 35,734 (≈ USD 23.21), for the past 1 month (Uber, EZE).
- Line 8 from the centre: boarding at Avenida de Mayo and Chacabuco, the published section times add up to about 118 min at peak and 103 min off-peak on route A, and 71 and 64 min on route G (our sum from the CNRT timetable).
Arrival tips
- Watch your bags. Canada warns of distraction thefts and of checked luggage being searched for valuables, so keep valuables in your carry-on (travel.gc.ca).
- Get connected before you leave the terminal if you’ll use an app; see our eSIM guide.
- Carrying USD 10,000 or more in cash? You must declare it on arrival (RG ARCA 5659/2025, art. 1); see our entry requirements guide. For daily costs, see our Buenos Aires budget guide.
FAQ
How much is a taxi from Ezeiza to Buenos Aires?
As of 30 Oct 2026, Taxi Ezeiza’s website listed a fixed fare of ARS 60,000 to Capital Federal, about USD 39 at the central bank’s reference rate, paid before you get in, in cash (pesos, US dollars or euros) or by card (Taxi Ezeiza). Our editor, Emiliano, told us in October 2026 that this fare is per car, not per person. Prices change often, so confirm the fare at the stand before you pay.
What if my flight is late?
Taxi Ezeiza says it doesn’t charge for waiting or delays (Taxi Ezeiza). With Uber Reserve, UberX, Comfort and XL drivers wait up to 45 minutes after landing before late fees apply (Uber).
How much is an Uber from Ezeiza, and where do I meet it?
As of 30 Oct 2026, Uber’s published UberX average was ARS 39,397 over the past month, not a fixed price. Pickups are typically at the Ground Transportation exit, and the app shows the exact zone (Uber).
Can I take the public bus with luggage?
We found no official luggage rule for city buses. With more than a carry-on, Tienda León’s published allowance (1 suitcase up to 23 kg plus 1 carry-on per person) is clearer (Tienda León FAQ).
Do I need a SUBE card, and can I register it as a tourist?
Not necessarily: SUBE says a contactless Visa or Mastercard, including a foreign one, pays the registered-card fare (SUBE). A SUBE card costs ARS 1,500 (SUBE) and registering is optional. With a passport, you can register one at the City’s Tourist Assistance Centres (City of Buenos Aires); SUBE’s own service centres ask adults for a valid DNI (SUBE terms). Our editor, Emiliano, told us in October 2026 that the Open 25 kiosk at Ezeiza, past the arrivals doors after baggage claim, sells SUBE cards.
Is there a train from Ezeiza airport?
Not that we found: Aeropuertos Argentina’s public transport page lists only buses (Aeropuertos Argentina).
